Happy Friday! How did your week go? Ours has been filled with lots of summer entertaining and grilling that we didn’t get to post Hungry Friday by midnight! Our apologies! We did get to share a few details about yesterday’s last-minute get-together with an old-young friend (you know, those kids who are suddenly all grown up) from Hawai’i… but still, we are so sorry for the delay! Anyway, we decided to change things up temporarily for the Summer by scratching out Salads and Starters and replacing them with Summer Beverages! Not that we don’t like salads and stuff, anymore… they’ll make their comeback in the Fall! In other news, my husband has been hinting at having Thirsty Thursdays on this blog; if you think that’s a good idea and you’d like to join in on the fun and craziness, let us know! Until then, let’s take a look at some droolworthy goodness to inspire us for the weekend (and beyond)!

Salads and Starters Summer Beverages
We’ve been doing a lot of last-minute summer entertaining lately and have found a way to make 5-Minute Pineapple Peach Iced Tea without having to crowd out our refrigerator with that huge gallon of iced tea. We used fresh pineapple to make this and boy is it so refreshing! Florida temps can be soooo hot during this time of year and it’s refreshing beverages like these + the water (pool, lake, or beach) that make a convincing case to leave the house!
Keikilani at All My Good Things sure knows how to make venison look so delicious! If you happen to ever come across venison in the grocery store (or in the woods, if you have a hunting permit), literally give this BBQ Venison Meatballs recipe a shot.
If you’re looking for a make-ahead, make-and-take dessert idea for the summer, Jenn at Ever After In the Woods shared this fabulous, best ever Fruit Pizza Dessert! This berry selection is perfect for 4th of July, but you can always substitute any other fruit you like.
We’ve always been huge fans of dragonfruit! The color is just oh-so-appealing, it looks like a summer party waiting to happen! Joy at Joy’s Life brought the party over to us with these mouthwatering Dragonfruit Popsicles! It’s a little bit messy, but it is soooo worth the effort. Dragonfruit–better watch out, we’re coming for ya!
Have a refreshing Summer!
