This picture of a Florida panther could’ve been my selfie today.
As I was talking with my husband over the phone, little did he realize that the stories that he shared from the first half of his day got my emotions soaring on a high speed roller coaster ride–like the Hulk ride at Universal Studios! While that ride is currently closed and set to reopen this Summer, I just may have reopened it prematurely in my own little world. By God’s grace, my husband managed to stay level-headed throughout the multiple ordeals he faced on the road and away from home today. I, on the other hand, was already ready to pounce at those who seemed to have caused injustice, when I should’ve been the very person encouraging my husband to keep his head up and focused on God so that he doesn’t lose his cool on those guys. Thankfully, his heart was right with God, and he chose not to take matters into his own hands. He didn’t rebuke me or anything, but God’s light shining through his actions certainly cut through the darkness of my heart this morning.
As I opened up the photo album on my computer, a photo of this Florida panther popped up. God may have just given me a glimpse of His sense of humor as I saw my selfie of the day. Oh, what a great reminder of Scripture,
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Your timing! That was ME yesterday. I was struggling with a tech issue – tech is not my strong suit and I made my problem (small in the of things) my husband’s fault when he was only trying to help. Thanks for the reminder. You’re awesome 🙂
