Hungry Friday – Week #9

It’s Hungry Friday, again! Yipeeeee! Who’s hungry?

In case you’re wondering: we changed things up a little bit and temporarily replaced “Desserts” with “Frozen Treats”–and rightfully so (at least for the Summer)! It has been incredibly hot over here in Florida but that doesn’t stop us from having some fun (and lots of good food and snacks) outdoors!

Summer Beverages

These colorful Mason Jar Ice Cream Floats by Julie at Julie is Coco and Cocoa are sure to please–from family movie nights and all kinds of fun occasions… or simply just because! Don’t they just look like a party waiting to happen? Fill a beverage cart with a bunch of these and take ’em poolside. You bet our kids will be out of the water in no time!

Entrée

Bernie at A Gouda Life had some fun polling her readers on Facebook about what ingredients they’d want to have in what would become the Ultimate Chicken Nachos recipe… and this is what it looks like! It’s over the top!!! We’re huge fans of nachos–and get this–there’s a bit of smoked Gouda cheese in there! Just the perfect amount of smokiness that leaves you coming back for more.

Dessert Frozen Treats

If you’re looking for a way to encourage kids to eat and enjoy Greek yogurt, these Yogurt-Dipped Fruit & Veggie Bars are sure to hit the spot! You can easily make this your own by choosing any popsicle flavor and toppings of your choice–a delightful snack that both kids and adults will enjoy!

Mmmm…. Raspberry Lemonade Cookies! Patty at The PKP Way wows us yet again with one of her delicious recipe creations! Don’t they just look oh-soooo-refreshing? Plus, they’re so beautiful, they look like they just came out of a gourmet pastry shop! So much fun! Any home, party, office, or lemonade stand sure could use a bunch of these!
